Deck: Elle Tarot, designed by Alain Le Foll
Description: A 24-card tarot deck designed by Alain Le Foll for the French magazine Elle in 1964. The cards were intended to be cut out and mounted to form a deck, as with this example. Though called a tarot, Le Foll’s colourful illustrations reinterpret a divinatory system with Lenormand influence, also found in an earlier deck illustrated by Gaston Smit.
